FaNDOM (Fast Nested Distance seeding of Optical Maps) Optical Map Alignment Tool and SV Detection Pipeline

Siavash Raisi, Dr. Vineet Bafna’s laboratory at UCSD presents on FaNDOM, an algorithm they developed that is used by the consortium to quickly and efficiently verify the structural variants identified by the Saphyr system. It was able to provide an independent confirmation of all of the variants identified by Saphyr using Bionano Access and Solve software and reported in the consortium publication.
